Re: "If you disagree, why?"

Because several posters on your side of the aisle have stated publicly that they sit on their butts all day and tap-tap-tap on their keyboards while their wives bring home the bacon.

Any other questions?

By comparison, I would say your guess is quite right.

Which is one reason I like SI-type sites, even among folks I disagree totally with, most have a concern for the country, and have earned a right to speak up about it, even tho' they can get silly sometimes.

The one issue I tend to harp on, tho', are those who are paid by government in one way or another.
That should have full disclosure, IMO, to be honest, when speaking about benefits of the all-powerful central government, and support of same.

Neocon disclosed his work as sometime writer for such as the Weekly Standard, which derives its income from the military-industrial wing of the Republican party.
Others should, IMO, do the same, especially when they espouse some issue having to do with support of the administration or gov't.

Myself, in full disclosure, once had a gov't contract, 20 years ago. (Took me 9 months to collect ! <gg>) But, I've always felt taxes are always taken by coercion, and the only fair way to do things is let those contribute who wish to, and leave the coercion to things like common defense, dispute resolution, and very basic infrastructure.
