But suicide bombers are relevant, especially if Arafat condones there use, seeing as he agreed in writing to negotiate without resorting to violence. Suicide bombers/homicide bombers are relevant because no Arab leader speaks out against them, thus they implicitly support them. What's Israel to do in the face of these bombings. Was Clinton's accord or whatever it was called so far off base that talking was no longer possible, that suicide bombing became necessary. Isn't it possible that Arafat does not want peace and would rather fight to irradicate Israel. Isn't Arafat a bit of despot, doesn't he murder his opposition, is there a free press in PA land, hasn't much of the money donated to the PA gone to Arafat cronies? Doesn't Arafat equal Milosevic in many ways?

I cannot agree with the use of suicide bombers

> I agree with you, but it is completely irrelevant.

That is where you are wrong. Until Arafat is replaced as the leader of the Palestinians and the moderate Arab states (including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan) all publicly condemn and renounce suicide bombings in Arabic and English there will be no restraints placed on Israel by the US government and there will be no progress on a Palestinian state.
