Good question, Cary. Can I plead temporary insanity?

Seriously, LU looks like a dog and it has alot invested in legacy, as well as cutting edge, networking technology, but I believe that like Corning, it will survive to see the dawn of a new spending cycle. And when that happens, they will get their share of the orders. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Bell Labs still attracts some very bright talent. I'm sure they have much less funding to do the kind of leading edge research that they are known for, but it is still more than lots of other places. And their IP in some pretty interesting areas is being written off by investors these days. LU may also have more fat left to cut than most companies. But the main thing is I do not intend to chase it into the abyss or let it get to even 5% of my portfolio.

Sam
