If I was Palestine this is what I would tell you: Why in the hell should I put down my arms? Would you Israel? Why should I stop my suicide bombers? Would you stop your soldiers from killing my innocent civilians? Why should I stop Israel? So you can kill me easier? So you can kill me slower? So I can make your job of killing me easier? If you knew there were killers and thieves outside your home that killed your innocent kids, that told you "don't worry, give us your gun and turn off your security system and we won't kill you", would you do it? I wouldn't! If Israel wanted peace it would have had peace by now. The current Israelis at the helm do not want peace and that is why they even killed their own President who would have given them peace. Sharon does not want peace. He is a butcher after all. Israel controls all the cards. If they wanted peace they would have had peace. But they don't want peace IMO. The extreme Orthodox Jews are calling the shots and their views is that the only peace with Palestinians is peace with dead Palestinians. And that is exactly what they are doing. You count the death toll of innocent civilians between the two sides and you will see what I mean. JMHO.
