Haim, in thinking about your comment to read through recent history about the occupied lands, my initial thought is they may not be occupied lands in the context of history, but at the end of the day, if the Palistinians had the land before the 1967 war and Israel has it now and is settling on it, to the Palistinians it is occupied land.....another one of those arguments where both sides are right and no can win unless both sides put the past behind them and just look from this point in time forward for a solution. I caught a news blurb this morning that Arafat condemned the suicide bombings and terrorism in Arabic. Somehow I doubt after years of encouraging it, this one statement will be followed by the Palistinians, but perhaps it is start. Tom
