Rational reasons to share Jerusalem and to share not :

RATIONAL REASONS TO SHARE JERUSALEM :

1/ There were Arab natives on this land in the last 32OO years, and before 1920 etc.

2/ Somehow, willingly or not, the Jews had their god exported to half the planet, including neighboring ME.
And when one exports his beliefs, it is fair to accept that he provide them with some "shrine" to humbly kneel in.

3/ The Palestinians did become a nation lately, without a land per se.

4/ No soil to speak of, no minerals, no high tech, no exports (but manpower, the worst kind), no tourism, no advanced learning centers that do not push the Muslim version of Yehova.

5/ They have many friends, rich friends with problems, that Yehova pseudo clone again.

6/ No one will never visit their leaders in some Jericho.

7/ Tourism money in East Jerusalem is worth above one hundred billion per century, and that the timespan for any respectable leader.

RATIONAL REASONS NOT TO SHARE JERUSALEM :

1/ No nation ever had to share its historic capital before.

2/ The Pals didn't deserve it by their conduct.

3/ It is utterly unfair to do so.

4/ It will please to the core the most villain people this planet, (no names needed, unfortunately)

Now, it is true that you said : "MUST share", Zeev Hed...

No, I do not have a rational reason for why the Jerusalem should be shared, other than it is a desire of the majority of Palestinians, from what I've read.
