Is there any seasonal reason for May to be options-lite? I pulled up a number of big-hitter symbols, and they all already have much more activity for June/July than for May. EMC, IBM, GE, INTC, MSFT, FNM... I do not know of a reason, but yes I sure as hell noticed it. Perhaps it is seasonal, perhaps there are other reasons. I never paid attention to it before. It was only recently that I determined that QQQ was the single biggest factor (option to watch). I am not even sure this is true on a historical basis. QQQ specualtion/hedging is rampant now and perhaps this is just "the new thing". M
