I'm with you on that, but Israel isn't having any luck crushing Hamas.eom It's quite hard to see whether they're having any luck or not. Obviously, Hamas has not been crushed, but if they had been seriously degraded would we be able to see evidence of it? At any rate, the first serious effort at degrading the militias, which was aimed more at the Tanzim and Al Aqsa (notice how quiet Gaza stayed?) was started about two weeks ago. It will take some time to see what the results are, and don't expect to read about it in the American papers.
