None of the warlords over there are peaceniks. We can't stop them, without (a)occupation forever or (b)letting them know they have to work it out and that we don't have the answers to their problems.

Then maybe then the citizens will throw out the warlords, and get on with making a decent life.

I think that's the only eventual solution.
But it's not a solution we can impose.

We can't make everyone else's problems our problems.
Even tho' that's what everyone else would like ...
