Point well taken (and did I really misspell "of"? Argh.). From the little I remember of my neuroanatomy class, the rhinencephalon (or 'nose brain') that governs the sense of smell is one of the most primal areas of the brain.

Every time I smell sesame oil, though, I get a hankering for steamed dumplings.
But that's just me. ;-)
