No, he is already the hero. We've seen this before : 67 war : Nasser loses his shoes and pants, but within a week, he is, again, a hero. Why ? Because he outplayed all Egyptians in one sentence: " I resign an will keep my goats in my village." He reentered Cairo like Cleopatra used to do : a million guys hailed him, fifty some died, (cruched etc). Sadate had all his armies surrounded in 73, with no reserve outside,no water inside, lost ground and all, same for Assad; and they claim everywhere that they won. Probably more than 100 million people believe it. These guys are funny. Same will apply to the only Arab Chairman.
