That's not true, there's a huge portion of the Israeli population that wants peace and is willing to cut a deal, is highly flexible, but, to my mind, the palestinians simply hate the jews and want them drowning in the sea (due to PA propaganda inflaming the Palestinians). But the Palestinians brought the latest Israeli incursion on themselves, or at least Arafat brought it on. I mean, come on, the passover bombing provoked Israel to action. Hey, I'm a bit of Palestinian sympathiser myself, but the Passover bombing was over the top, Israel had to act, imo.
