Your opinion sounds very much like the one gentlemen on cnbc.He just couldn't see it because he was certain of the mistakes.

I just watched the show. The guy you're talking about was Dan Henninger. His point was that cloning isn't ready for prime time, that scientists would do something nutty, horrify everyone, and that would be the end of cloning. He also didn't trust the intellectual elites to handle the matter ethically.

I'm opposed to any ban on cloning, although I wouldn't be upset if Congress felt it had to ban reproductive cloning.

I had never seen that show before. Thanks for clueing me in. I always appreciate discussion shows where people keep their voices at a normal level and speak one at a time. Of course, part of the reason for that on this show is that there's a lot of agreement. I learned that there's a simple solution to the ME problem--give Sharon enough time to squash the Palestinians before pulling back, then go into negotiations, and the good guys will come out with a good deal. No moral ambiguity on that panel.
