Thanks Ed but since Microsoft is listed as the author it's probably the buggy
original release. I rather wait for the rerelease.

I emailed MSFT Tuesday asking about Power Toys for XP.
I got a reply today:

Hello and thank you for contacting us at Microsoft.com regarding the availability of PowerToys for Windows XP.

The PowerToys download located on the CNet Web site at download.cnet.com is the older
version of PowerToys (version 1.0). There is an updated version of PowerToys that is scheduled to be available very soon.

Please check back to the PowerToys website for frequent updates:

For MS Windows XP Professional Edition: microsoft.com

For MS Windows XP Home Edition: microsoft.com

Should you have further concerns, please feel free to write us back.

Sincerely,

Aimy
