I very much agree with your objection to the quasi-religious aspect to that show. IMO, it's inappropriate in that kind of setting and could indeed be taken as a holy war type of vibe.

Those Muslim countries have a choice as to whether that show is shown in their countries. If they decide not to, we aren't going to invade.

Their tender sensibilities does NOT abrogate the First Amendment rights of Americans. And the President of the US does NOT have the right to tell those producers what they may or may not show.

In addition, there are a great many things about this country besides that song that they don't like. Shall we turn the US into a Muslin theocracy to appease them?

I would think the costumes the female skaters wore would be more offensive to them than that song. Should we require them to perform in burqas so as not to offend their potential Muslim audience?
