I have heard Iraq produces 3 million bbl/day, and US buys 90% of their exports
either figure could be off
but mystery number is how much Iraqi oil is expoerted?
I suspect the great majority, as in over 95%, but that assumption could be off
I dont think any oil-related problem is relieved with a mere 3mpg drop
I may encounter the data myself here or there
who knows?
Americans want desperately to feel less insecure than we are about oil supply
that is why they point to recent low prices under 20/bbl
only trouble is the pricing model doesnt account much for risk premium
I brought up this point last autumn
the oil situation wont be improving, despite the loud cries of worldwide glut
their may be a glut of reserves
but that says nothing about the shortage of "DELIVERED" supply
you cannot fill your tank with Caspian Sea oil buried under 600 feet of water

I love calculus, still do
so dont be dissing on my CALC, or else I be hurtin yo ass
calculus is minor league math compared to statistical analysis methods though
