The good PA people get slaughtered away from the media, but of course we all know that. I too have wondered why we hear so little about it.

Zeev, the "media" is bend to express the view of their masters and unfortunately many of them dislike or outright hate the Jews. The new wave of clear anti Semitic actions in Europe and even in the US (under the cover of anti - Zionism or anti Israel or pro arab) is a clear indication of the mood. My 83 year old mother told me that similar approach started after 1929 toward the Jews world wide which ended with the Nazi coming to power and the establishment of concentration camp for the extermination of "unfit or unwanted " people of which the Jews were a big majority. So those poor souls that are realistic and want to live side by side with a Jewish state are branded Jew lovers and unwanted people ..... it is very simple. The world at large turns a blind eye to totalitarian regimes, fascist or murderous tyrants ....... but easily call names democratic regimes who do not "obey" to "their" will ........ how else could you explain the rise of the Taliban for example ? Point in case did any country or the UN intervene in China during their "cultural revolution" under Mao when millions upon millions of people were summarily executed or butchered by the mob or their government? ............ no ............ did they call China government then and "Chairman Mao" names like they call now Israel it's IDF or it's democratic elected Prime Minister............ NO .......... after all they were Chinese they were cruel and utterly brutal by any measure .......... pause and think why ...............

Christian Arab out and Israeli settlers in. Its directly or indirectly an economic issue. I was just thinking if Palestians got a homeland; the bill most likely paid for by US for resettlement of 200K Israeli settlers would be at least $10 B. I would assume that aid from US either diecrt governmental or non governmental sources helped pay for settlements to a some degree. I had back in graduate school a Russian emigre co worker who had interesting answer to Santanista problem. He thought it would be cheaper to pay them rather then arm Central American right wing groups. Maybe it is time to propose a new resettlement if that is one major reasons that Palestinians are upset.
