About the Hammer,

for the new Athlon 64 name, what is Microsoft going to call the 64 operating system for it?

After all, Intel blew a fuse when AMD used XP, so might as well get them to blow another fuse.

Microsoft won't mind, Intel isn't going to testify on Microsoft's behalf.
People like techy numbers, but AMD needs to get away from K6 - K7 - K8 crap.

Hammer is the best so far. I'd be against -64 stuff, reminds me of the C64.
