My reason for making the comparison is that I see some similarities between the two cultures which gives them some [albeit small] common ground. Knowing that may eventually help them to resolve their differences. I can't agree that it's any help at all- I don't see how the two cultures were similar and I don't see how it helps anything. IMO, there are similarities.....I tried to point them out. Apparently, you did not see them as relevant. ted
