<<Why can't Israel just pull out.....Sharon bucking Bush's request don't sit well with the U.S.....>>

You can say that again...Who's writing the check for $3 Billion/year...?? Israel is also antagonizing many of the Arab nations that it hopes to have productive relations with.

You said, "Why can't Israel just pull out.....Sharon bucking Bush's request don't sit well with the U.S....."

Don't believe for a second that Sharon didn't get the green light from the Pentagon and thus the bush Administration to completely dismantle the PA infrastructure as was called for in the Oslo accords of 1993 if Arafat didnt do what he was supposed to.

Rabin only signbed the Oslo ACCORDS WHICH CREATED THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY, with US agreement that they could reoccupy PA governed territory if their weapons were turned on Israeli citizens.

The US was faced with legally binding agreements that they authored, and therefore Bush couldnt disagree.

These are the facts surrounding this incursion.

It is legally agreed to beforehand and signed by a US President.

The arabs can cry all day long, the US already agreed to this in 1993, in writing.
