The DPs in this country would rather be run over by tanks in front of the Treasury building than agree to a flat tax. It is severely politically incorrect.

Good article.

Too bad that lower flatter simpler taxes seem fairly unlikely in the US in the neat future. Even when we get taxes that are a tiny bit lower and flatter like under Bush's tax cut the taxes are more complex then before not less.
