ep, that's a horrifying thought alright ... how far from Three Mile Island or Peach Bottom was Flight 93 at that point? And how far were they when they crashed?

Perhaps the hijackers only descended to try to escape radar, but if these reactors were anywhere in the vicinity, all kinds of 'paranoid' thoughts come to mind. For one: if the USAF didn't shoot down the flight, why in hell didn't they?

Same question applies to the Washington plane. They'd had at least 25 minutes to scramble some fighters ...
