What suprises me is that so many intelligent Jewish folks who post on this thread support the massively destructive tactics used by Israel against their neighbors.....Oppenheimer spoke out against the use of the atomic bomb...his invention....Sharon has created much division in the region....when will he see the light and stop the madness. I expect more out of the Jewish leadership, I'm surprised Zeev supports the Israeli policy.

Hold on, as I said earlier. Israel vacated settlements and land for peace with Egypt and Jordan. It could have done the same for Gaza and the westbank. Why not? The two sides were talking, why stop talking, why resort to suicide bombers. If you can articulate a problem with Clinton's proposed accord, then so could have the PA. Instead they chose to go the suicide bomber route and not talk. Blame Arafat not Israel. Arafat agreed in writing to forego violence, he broke his word.
