The Palestinians need hope and they need to see a pathway to peace.....Its the desperation and illegal occupation that has motivated some of them to strike back at Israel. They had that, do you forget? It was the choice of their current government to prepare them for war instead and create a cult of martyrdom. Why? Because they don't want a two-state solution. They want a one-state solution - No Israel. Seriously, have you read or listened to ANYTHING that Arafat has said in Arabic for the last five years? His own ministers freely admit that Oslo was just a ruse, the goal was Palestine from the river to the sea.
