that depends on definition of futile, I guess. More than 1/4 of population of Byelorassua, mostly civilians, were killed yet partizans disrupted supply lines to front to a degree that without them there was a good chance that Hitler would rule the world.

In Byeolarussia, where I came from, Germans burned over a hundred villages together with population. That did not stop resistance in that area.

It depends if the resistance is futile. If it was, Belorussians were slow learners, if the resistance was not futile (which turned out to be the case), I guess it was worth it.

re: it looks like they are almost winning, and makes them more enthusiastic about their cause.

unfortunately people like Ted want to bring Israel to trial on charges against humanity as is. It is easy to convince me but try to convince Ted or Andreas.

or it's hands are tied. Recall that during Gulf War Israel was asked not to respond to fire from Iraq
