>Z, I don't think we are talking the same nickname.

What one are you talking about?

>And so you can identify with Arafat and his desire to grind his axe. Besides, there are many ways to grind an axe.

His axe is the fact that Israel exists. Sharon's is the man who is killing thousands of his people. There's quite a difference.

>How much you want to bet that all those killed and captured and all the weapons that have been confiscated and/or destroyed will be replaced in a year?

Depends how Israel is allowed to follow up. If Israel is allowed to continuously police the territories, they won't be replaced. There was never any violence of the sort that there is now until the Palestinians were given some autonomy.

>Then, why do most neutral political observers believe he's anti the Oslo accord?

He was against the Oslo accord because he didn't trust Arafat, not because he didn't think there should be a Palestinian state. Looking back, he was right and many of us were wrong.

>Why since he has been in office, has he not discouraged the settling of Israelis in the WB and Gaza?

Neither did Rabin, Peres, Netanyahu, or Barak.

>There has been no attempt to secure a peace other than way he pays the US lip service. We are being made to look the fool by Sharon.

Yeah, right. He just hasn't done EVERYTHING we've asked. For the zillionth time, he's pulled out of the West Bank and Gaza repeatedly, only to have to go back in when there's a wave of attacks on the Israelis... he's given the U.S. tactic enough chances, now he's just doing what he has to do, though he is pulling out slowly.
