The beautiful thing about Israeli Democracy,is that the elected head is the VOTE OF THE PEOPLE.

I can imagine what would happen with the Palestinians if they would try to talk against Arafat.

Will they be killed as collaborators?

Don't forget it was Begin,as tough a warrior as Sharon who made peace with Egypt and Jordan.

Highly regarded Thomas Friedman? Doubtful he speaks for more than 1/200th of the Jewish People

Friedman doesnt look like he could hold a rifle much less direct a General.
