And they didn't know that continued support of suicide bombing were going to lead to reprisals. if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

F-16's???.. He's lying they were not used at all during this defensive manuever.

Does the weight of a tank have anything to do with the price of suffering in Ramallah? Would the suffering been reduced by 50% if the tanks weighed 3 tons.

the 22 year old, convienant that he didn't say how/why he got injured. maybe he was holding a weapon? maybe he was throwing a granade? maybe he had a work accident?

same with the young man who got hit with a bomb. who threw the bomb? perhaps a work accident, or was he a combatant?

the 35 years of occupation has been terrible. it was better between 1948 and 1967? only the jews made it bad? life was a bed of roses under Jordan, huh.

maybe this article pulls at some heart strings, but I'll chalk it up to the poster's ability to continue to find this kind of stuff to post.

this is another example of what i complained about before.

Without disparaging the real civilian suffering, let me say that this piece is another offering in the World's Biggest Victims campaign. Israel isn't fighting this action to retain dominion over the territories, but over the terms under which she will leave them -- whether by treaty, or by retreat in the face of suicide bombings. The suicide bombings were not mentioned this piece, I notice. Nor was the Red Crescent track record in lending itself to the transport of guns, gunmen and explosives. Nor will they be in the ensuing Whine Campaign.
