Why do the Saudis do a telethon AFTER the Israeli incursion,when they could have helped their "brothers" BEFORE this destruction,and helped the Palestinians set up a real country? Manny T.

The main reason for their problems, is the fact none of their arab friends will help build their own lives. Arafat received millions of dollars in aid, but instead of using the money to help the Palestinians, he built himself palaces and an army to help fight Israel. Israel finally realized that instaed of helping his brothers, he is using the money to promote himself and terrorism, so they took the PLA out of service.You can't blame Israel, they tried to make peace, and arafat refused.
