LAL:MSFT tends to say the conservative thing setting the expectations lower than they think they can fulfill. INTC is generally pretty straight forward. CSCO tends to be negative.JFD

I personally hope that Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, and some other big tech names show some leadership during the upcoming earnings season and project a positive future outlook. Many companies take the easy way out and just say there's "no visibility" or "we don't know when things will turn around."

It sounds like you'd really like to unload those shares you left with and are just trying to scalp a better price! One minute you're complaining that the SEC didn't pump the market by announcing during market hours that they dropped their investigation of IBM, now you want Intel to pump the market about their prospects. Go ahead & diversify, and you won't be so nervous.
