I got 4 unique request to ban Elmer so here is the vote. Mani, despite the criticism you have received, I think you have done a fine job in trying to be fair so this is not directed towards you. Allow me to address this thread: Nobody seems to care about the lies NiceGuy posted about me. The repeated lies about my transactions, the lies about my divulging information about Intel yields, the lies about my discussing Intel financials, which would be illegal. I made a post in poor taste and I apologized. I did so before being asked. The real reason why I am being considered for banishment is not because of that post but because I don't speak the party line. That's not acceptable here to say anything against Jerry and his ship of fools, and the first excuse is just cause to get rid of someone who say's things that make you very uncomfortable. Where are those .13u ThoroughlyDeads? What about those "World Class Yields"? What about the reports of minimal performance improvement? Everything I predicted here is coming true and folks don't like it. You'd rather listen to an idiot who tells you AMD is headed for the mooooooooooooooooooooon!!!! You're welcome to him. If you folks are going to turn your backs on the abuse I have endured and then ignore my public apology, you will be proving everything bad said about you. I would consider it an honor to be banned by the thought control thread. Please do me the favor. EP

I take back my vote for suspension. Elmer's post was far below the belt, but realized his mistake quickly and apologized (well, sort of apologized, as he called NG stupid in his apology). NG, however, was baiting Elmer. I think Elmer should stay and we should all learn a lesson of being more civil to each other on this board. The goal is to make money in our stock investments, not gain bragging rights for the cleverest insult.

Mani: Having read Elmer's post #11107 after I voted, I still vote no...I enjoy reading his ridiculous (and inaccurate) rationale for behaving in a manner that is an embarrassment to INTC...Most of all I'd miss his remarkable ability, delineated repeatedly in his posts, of avoiding taking sole ownership for his childish responses!!! Contortionists have nothing on Elmer in this regard!!!
