Hi Paul, I highly recommend Stan's book. Its a beginners course in technical analysis. Stan then takes this simple approach to technical analysis and gives you a way to craft an investment strategy, especially stressing using limit and stop orders to protect your upside and downside in the stock. The book is not all about shorting stocks, but there is an excellent chapter in the book that explains short strategies. I feel in these troubled market times, its essential to learn short strategies. Good luck to you and i look forward to more of your input. Thanx, Gregg
