Dear Rich: I can see you are a pie in the sky red blooded Liberal who doesnt know his arse from a hole in the ground. Of course USA is sucking up oil we have one of the highest standards of living for a large country and a dynamo industrial demand. But, to be honest it is CHINA which will suck up the oil as they improve their lot and their hordes begin to demand oil. Now as to your other comment regarding defense, I am wondering what makes you think you know anything about what our country needs? Clinton ran down our military supplies to practically nothing then this Afganistan thing. Obvious to me we needed to replenish our stores. Rest went to salaries which have been long ignored for the military. jdn
