IMHO, Waters was the mind and Gilmour the music behind Pink Floyd. Waters made you think while Gilmour made you listen, quite a powerful combo. It's too bad its 'bitter bitter land' between the two, as neither can capture the 'magic' as solo artists, as they did when they were together.
