Waters usually gets bored every 5 or so years and does a tour of the US.. There is a fantastic double set he released last year called 'in the flesh' which has a mix of alot of his new work as well as the older floyd stuff.. I made it to 2 of his shows last year (or was it the year before??) but the tour with Eric Clapton was simply incredible.. His solo music isnt for everyone, but if its for you- life takes on a whole new meaning.. I suggest buying the album 'amuzed to death' but be warned, it is very very err different.. If its possible to wear out a cd- I did so with that one : )
