If the study had got started after 2000 it wouldn't have bothered to include RDRAM. But the thesis with the comments on RDRAM definitely includes the date May 2001: tik.ee.ethz.ch Re: "That could explain a lot of the commentary." Why? PC800 RDRAM hasn't changed significantly since 1999. (The only change I've seen is that there are now parts available with a latency of 40 instead of 45.) It's DDR that has been improving by leaps and bounds with each quarter seeing improved performance. -- Carl
