How do you know that they didn't get enough money to do all that? I said this in another message... is not like Arafat is leaving in a life of luxury you know? Or are you saying he has secret Swiss bank accounts? What are you saying? And where is the evidence please?

Correct ET, Palestine was given plenty of time and money from numerous sources including other arab nations to build a democracy with a solid infrastructure. Their police force was pathetic, they could not even stop civilians from breaking into a prison! Each time there was a little tension with Israel, they would release a batch of terrorists from their cells saying 'thank you, please come again'. The problem is that the PA is terribly corrupt, and what better way to make people forget about their poverty and corrupt government than giving them a common hope and common enemy to bind them together. Why do Arafats wife and daughter live in Paris? Why not join daddy in the wonderful new state he is building?
