11:53 ET FBI warns D.C. banks of credible threat : According to Dow Jones, the FBI has warned banks in D.C. of a credible threat and urged them to evacuate downtown branches. Also contributing to equity weakness is an S&P downgrade of Japan's debt rating, which hit almost simultaneously with the D.C. reports.
