I have started-- and it is a very easy read so far. Very anecdotal and well-written. Start so we can talk about it- I keep reading aloud to Dan who is getting tired of it already. The other night in bed, as I read the first brief history section, I kept changing sides every five minutes, shouting, "Well, no WONDER the Palestinians are mad!" or "Well, of COURSE the Israelis would defend that!" until Dan said, Penni, what page are you on? -Page 14. -How many pages are there? - About 500 -Could you just wait and tell me whose side you're on when you're done? X tells me that I won't be on any side by the end and will just wonder why we are there at all. But I already wonder that. I am off for the day-- going to Puerto Rico this week for a few days so must do some shopping.
