I am not a fan of Sharon tactics but it is clear that he was going to continue to bulldose through West bank unitl he and other terrorists were found.

Thank goodness there was no additional loss of life with his capture. Palestinians proved they would fight tooth and nail for their homeland in Jenin; Israel defends it's homeland from terror. Arafat may not get to see Palestian statehood.

The only questions is East Jersulem and reimbursement of settlers homesteads via additional US aid or some land swap agreement to define boundries of Palestinan homeland. I am hoping both sides get down to serious bargining since resumption of bloodshed is almost guaranteed otherwise.

Powells trip to Lebabon and Syria is to keep all involved parites informed of what Bush's plans are and what is expected of them.
