Hi John:

I remember the article and his comments put some spark into the software sector (isn't software one of the leaders out of a tech recession??) and techs. Maybe he had some cancelled orders? I sort of remember he was talking about pipeline and orders closing eaiser than last year.

MANU had a good report and I expect FMKT will also but with tech we should probably just wait till August / Sept in anticipation of typical tech spending patterns.

Hey so with 34 broken do you think 29 holds on GE (it should on the 1st attempt anyway). Imagine the market selling when GE breaks 29. Lets see the funds will be saying goodbuy IBM, TYC, HWP, F, just to name a few. I think the DOW is going to have some real tough love this summer.

Doens't look like much of a spring rally.
