The implication that we need to change the human race via cloning is scary.

Have you heard anyone advocate changing the human race by cloning? I haven't, so I'd be interested in a reference. Advocates of human cloning seem to all be talking about the potential for cures for diseases, from what I've heard, which I would consider a noble effort.

The reason I say it reeks of religion is that man controls religion making choices about how we the human race should conduct our lifes.I find no comfort in religion.It bothers me how religion over the ages has prevented the forward progress of the human race.Ex.'s medieval europe,and Islam to me is still a medieval religion.Thats JMHO.

You say you like the human race the way it is,Why are you so afraid?There is always room for improvement.
