Sad sack? Oh come on. Nothing sad about Kerry. He's probably the more forceful leader in the Senate right now. He was a Silver Star and Bronze Star winner, stands 6 foot 5, is craggily handsome (not sad-looking just serious), plays ice hockey very well, and has a wife worth 800 million. If that's sad, I want to be sad too. I think he would need a Edwards type VP though, someone youthful and even more telegenic/energetic, and definitely from the south.

The northeast would go for Kerry 100%, but also California, the Northwest, much of the Midwest and possibly Florda, north Carolina (with Edwards), New Mexico, Iowa, possibly West Virginia and Colorado. That wins it right there. Remember the margin of victory for Bush even with Florida was New Hampshire. That's how close it was and Kerry is a superior candidate to Gore. Plus, no more Nader or Monica this next time. I don't think Kerry has any skeletons in his closet. If Bush can't fix the economy he's out, and I doubt he will so long as his emphasis is on Big Energy and the military.
