If you read MSFT's Form 10-K they describe in their Earnings per share footnote how EPS is calculated.

this is the whole point those in congress that want to change ESOs are making... do you not understand this situation at all????

MSFT calculates in the money they are getting from employees, as if they are buying 290 million shares in buy backs....

but in FACT MSFT isn't buying anywhere near 290 million shares.... last quarter they bought only 5.3 million shares....

the quarter before that they only bought back 21.6 million shares.... on average they have only been buying back about 50 million to 70 million shares a year.. yet granting 200 million more on average every year.... that's ontop of not buying back 290 million shares........

the whole point about this is that you are a shareholder, you are not getting the good end of this stick, you are getting the shaft,

MSFT says they are going to buy back 290 million shares, but then they don't.... you the shareholder are bearing the burden of an extra 200 MILLION shares thrust on your dilution ever single year yet MSFT doesn't figure in this dilution, and then cheats on the other end of the equation to boot.... do you not understand this? well your stock price is telling you loud and clear now..... ontop of that, they are GRANTING another 200 Million on average per year..... and failing to calculate those in either........

don't you see the problem here? congress sure does, Warren buffett sure does... Alan Greenspan sure does.... did you really think you had something over these people? did you really think that Alan Greenspan and Warren Buffett don't know what they are talking about?

you are being cheated, by MSFT reporting that they are earning one number, and then telling the IRS they are earning another number.... and they certainly are not giving you the shareholder the correct number...

get a clue quickly....... learn how to add... get a math challenged course..... figure it out.... before you lose everything...
