Re; Lately I have read anecdotes about lead times increasing and people scrambling for product, which confirms what you say about delivery times. Sun's quarters used to be back-loaded with 50% orders coming in the last month. Now they are even more back-loaded with 60% orders in the last month. That means 40% of orders in the quarter arrive in the first two months. Assuming a linear distribution of orders in the first two months of the quarter, the first month has only 1/3rd of the orders of the last month. So it's especially gratifying for the longs to see delivery times move up in the first month of the quarter. In any case, we should know the entire story on Thursday.
