Technusatsu, That gives more credence to the notion that the militants and the terrorists are a minority, but they do a very efficient job at keeping the majority silent. I don't believe for a second that the vast majority of Palestine wants to become martyrs, but at the same time, I don't think the vocal minority is very open to reason and negotiation, either. If that's the case, the Palestinians should be rooting for Israel, which is trying to decapitate the terror leadership, as they kill and arrests the leaders. But something makes me doubt that they do. Maybe the relation between Palestinian leadership and population is more like that of an abused wife, who still sticks with her oppressive husband. Joe
