Carranza..I was afraid someone would ask for sources...lol!
I'm working from memory (very risky) based on recent Google searches under 'water conflicts in the mideast'. Some of my 'facts'? came from Israeli newspapers, which I read every night.

As for Israeli high-tech, some excellent technology and biotechnology has been coming out of Israel....one more reason Israel should be actively seeking a just peace. Wonderful talents are always lost on both sides during warfare. The cure for cancer may have been blown up in an Israeli bus or the Jenin refugee camp.

In fact, some of Israel's best technology has yet to be fully developed. Lanoptics and Avici are two companies that come to mind. Both fortunately raised capital during the IPO boom of the late 90s while their products were still on the drawing board but sales are probably being impacted by the conflict. Avici's products, for ex., are so expensive that a buyer would likely hesitate in the midst of such uncertainty.
