Ten
there are those who try ( or rather tried) to cooperate with Israel. They are usually killed right away as they do not have Israeli army to protect them.

Or maybe it's easier to believe that the Israelis want all Palestinians dead than to believe that their own leadership is evil or inept.

Ten, I think that's the issue. Back in the 20's and 30's, the first wave of Palestinian refugees ended up in the cities of neighboring countries. In the second wave, the same thing happened but when the big relocation came in the late '40's, that's when the camps were set up. I don't think the neighboring countries wanted to deal with the problems of housing so many refugees. Plus King Abdullah of Jordan killed a number of Palestinians.

I would not be surprised if the Palestinians find it easier to blame the Israelis, then their fellow Arabs and Muslims. This whole thing is a complex problem that has unraveled over a long period of time. There is no easy solution unfortunately.
