<<This is very sad indeed -- I don't want my tax dollars going to buy the military equipment to be used to do this sort of thing.>> I totally agree...I can't believe Colin Powell and Bush have not started to speak out about Jenin yet...IMO, Sharon has clearly gone too far and we should have DEMANDED that he withdraw all IDF troops from the occupied territories -- I would play hardball with Israel (like GW's father did) and threaten to cut off ALL U.S. aid unless there is an IMMEDIATE and COMPLETE withdrawal from the territories. Just because I say this does not mean I approve of all that Arafat and his group have done BUT the U.S. needs to be much more even-handed in the way we deal with both parties...JMHO.
