On call, says that it is cautiously optimistic that Q2 will show significant improvement over Q1... notes that Q1 net bookings were $175 mln for Q1, which exceeded the guidance of $150 mln in mid-quarter update; orders were up in every region except U.S.... NVLS +1.48 at 51.88

It sounds like they are hoping for the proverbial squeezing of "blood out of a turnip"...

Until the economy gets back onto a REAL expansion footing, I fear the best these co's can hope for is spot increases as various niche markets need system upgrades.

Of course the argument can be made, the "bottom" has already been priced in. I guess another quarter....<sigh>
